Paul Johnson Jewelers is a Scottsdale based jewelry seller that has been in business in Scottsdale for a long time. Here is a word of advice for anyone considering buying jewelry there: do not. The business is now owned by Clark and Bambi Johnson. They are scam artists. The pair recently refinanced their home in Gainey Ranch, took out several hundred thousand dollars, and then completely stripped the house to a shell. They took the windows, tile, doors, garage door, fence, pool safety cover, kitchen appliances, bathroom appliances, and more. After they stripped the house to a complete shell, they let it go to foreclosure. The house is in such an unsafe condition that a neighborhood child could easily end up getting hurt in the pool. The one thing they left behind was their collection of John McCain signs and bumper stickers.

Anyway, the police visited the house and I imagine that they will have legal trouble. But would you buy a piece of jewelry from someone who pulled a scam like this? I wouldn’t. They are scam artists, plain and simple.
